About The Game
Saint of Chains asks a disturbing question. What if the only way to fight evil was to become a little evil yourself. This 2026 horror shooter action adventure survival game from MystiveDev follows a holy knight infected by the same curse that created the monsters. Your chain whip is also a chain of sins, each link forged by an atrocity you commit. The latest version of the game adds a new game plus mode where you keep your corruption level from the previous playthrough, unlocking hidden areas and alternate dialogues.
Survival mechanics force you to choose between staying pure but underpowered, or embracing sin to gain devastating abilities. Shooter combat includes a last stand mechanic where, when your health hits zero, you can sacrifice a portion of your soul to unleash a blinding light that burns all nearby enemies. Horror is amplified by the game sound design, which layers whispers and screams that react to your corruption level. Adventure exploration reveals the cathedral secret history through stained glass puzzles and the testimony of trapped souls. The game features multiple endings, from redemption to full damnation.
