In the story, a little boy goes to bed, but finds himself not in an ordinary pleasant dream, but in a terrible nightmare. Terrible things happen here, from which the emotional state of the child changes for the worse. Can the player make the guy happy again. A distinctive feature of Happy Game is its graphics. It’s a mixture of animation and hand-drawn style, which makes some objects and characters faces hypertrophied and unnatural. The events in which the main character participates take place in a different setting.

It can be a dark room, in which only key points for interaction and the boy himself are marked with rays of light, or a bright meadow, where the hero is surrounded by creepy animals. At the same time, the gameplay is not limited to clumsy dashes, which are interrupted by screamers or scripted inserts. From time to time it is necessary to complete the quest in order to advance further. For example, you need to find the head of a bear and attach it to the body by finding the part under the creepy clown-shaped caps.

There are also creepy carnivorous plants that are ready to devour the main character alive, and in order not to allow this to be done, you need to fight back and look for weak points in the monster. Sometimes, the change of locations is completely illogical, but it is due to such a move that you can fully feel how terrible this nightmare is for a child.
