Over time, the player will learn how to create objects and equipment using both familiar materials like stone or wood, and resources of an alien origin. There is no competitive subtext in RimWorld — this game is about something else. Here is a generator of random stories and events, one way or another related to your colony. Each time you start a new game, you will plunge into a whirlpool of new events for you you have to study the world again, but another, fight against other opponents, treat your wards for completely different diseases earlier. The game exploits the mechanics of the «AI storyteller», the essence of which is to analyze the situation around your colony for the subsequent generation of those events that will create the best story.
